- Which Presentation Should I Choose?
- I have results completed for a research project: apply for a virtual or an in-person oral presentation!
- I have research in progress or a research idea: apply for a poster presentation!
- I can’t make the in-person conference, don’t feel up to an oral presentation, and have some in-progress research and/or ideas I would like to share: apply for an asynchronous research snippet!
- Judging:
- Virtual and In-Person Oral presentations will be formally judged in one category, and open to awards.
- In-Person Poster presentations will be formally judged in another category, and open to awards.
- Self-paced, asynchronous virtual research snippet will not be formally judged, and thus are not open to awards.
- Professional Development Requirement:
- Presenting in a judged category (Oral & Poster) fulfills the HAS professional development requirement for graduation. Non-judged categories (i.e. the research snippet) will not fulfill the HAS professional development requirement.
- Final Notes:
- There will be no more formal changes to these categories.
- Please keep in mind that due to scheduling you may not get your first choice.
- The exact length of the March 22 oral presentations will depend on the length and number of submissions.
